I agree, but doing so does have some problems. Some people with "out of office" auto repliers will reply to every message, which goes back to the list, which gets delivered to the auto-replier, which goes back to the list......blah blah infinite loop.
However I ubderstand that there are ways to set up mailing list software so this doesn't happen. We should do so and set reply address to be the list. my 2cents worth!
