Hi all, Would it be worthwhile for me to bring the Peanut machine I built to the meeting? It doesn't do much, just runs Peanut Linux and KDE3.0, but for any newbies who either don't have Linux, or have a low-spec cast off machine to play with it might help to see how fast it runs, and what it actually looks like.
The PC was literally built from junk I collected: Soyo 5TF motherboard Pentium 200MHz 80Mb RAM (64Mb + 16Mb) 12Gb hard drive Crystal sound card S3 Trio 64+ video card SMC EtherEZ network card I think that's about it. As you can see it's a fairly low spec., but it does seem to be usable. If I bring it I will bring the PC system unit, a keyboard and mouse. Then I will need a monitor and optionally speakers to show it. If no-one is interested then that's fine- it'll save me the effort... Later, Andy
