Registration 8: Setup problem Date: Sun, 29 Sep 2002 21:29:09 +1200 From: Barry <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Hi, My box is going ok, but I have a problen with both kate and kwrite which both use the same files, included from their respective rc files, to determine how to highlight the program listing being edited. Neither can pick up HTML comments, ie text enclosed with <!-- bla bla -->. Each rc file (in /home/barry/.kde/share/config) contains the line [Highlighting_Cache/usr/share/apps/kate/syntax/html.xml] and I think that the code in /html.xml is not parsing the text being edited correctly. It is picking up the starting < correctly but treats the following text as an identifier. If someone can sort out the syntax of this file it may solve the problem for me. The problem is that I dont really understand the settting up of my Matrox G200 builtin video system. Tux Racer sometimes works at full speed and sometimes doesn't, also other apps which use the GL libs squirt out strange error messages. Any help to resolve these issues would be very gratefully received. -- Sincerely etc., Christopher Sawtell ======================================================= Registration 5: Date: Sat, 28 Sep 2002 15:21:20 -0700 From: "Ben Devine" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> I will be there on Wendsday with one laptop to get PCMCIA working properly.
