Thanks Zane. I just felt like I had really been told off for making a
slight
boo boo, so to speak. This is my first time on any sort of large worthwhile
mailing list, so lesson learnt.

Thanks Tess and many thanks to all of the others on the list
that have at times been rude about this.

Tess in the past I have seen people absolutely rubbished for that
ummm "crime"

<pompous-sermon>
There are other netiquette rules for everyone to possibly remember.

The ones I can remember:
-don't post in capitals
-don't post attachments to a list post a url instead.
-don't post in any format other than plain text (Mike JS don't get picky
please about the defn of plain text ;-)
-keep posts as short as possible
-don't be rude (ie don't flame)
-try keep to the list subject
-don't criticise people on the list. If you want somebody's behaviour to
change always assume it is a mistake and ask them *nicely*
off-list.

But owing to the anarchistic nature of the CLUG even these "rules" are
probably arguable. I think there are good guides around the web on this.

Zane
