In relation to the above and the previous IT jobs thread - I have successfully
written a novel - at 130 thousand words long I feel confident that I'm
capable of churning the words out - and I've just got myself an "Excel 97
MOUS Essentials" book to use as the basis of an OpenOffice.org textbook,
having been informed by Neal Irwin that that would be very useful for
businesses considering the switch to OpenOffice.org.

I can read C and to a lesser degree C++ and Java. I know what sort of
questions to ask a developer to make a book for the user.

Is there any chance any of these Linux development companies in Christchurch
would be interested in having me aboard?

Now that would be extra-cool. Get them to fly in a small S/390 Multiprise
3000 and load it with Linux/390 on top of VM/ESA, just to show people how big
it can get. Multiple instances of Linux/390 loaded on top of VM/ESA, all
doing their own thing, and I'll bet we'll have the banks all crowding around,
being their usual nosy selves.
