Get it on the provision that it works with linux.

If the supplier goes "huh" then get another supplier.

This also increases supplier awareness of linux supported products -
"Hey Jim - we stock these kodak USB cameras and theres a lot of returns
for `OS incompatibility`.  Lets get Logitech ones next time..."

Or just pick up a scsi card off trademe - they normally sell for <$20
