The problem is, it came with an ISA card, and I'll need a PCI card to use it with my new computer. (I'd rather not get a new scanner - this one's been brilliant.) I have my eye on an Adaptec 2906 SCSI card (easy to get hold of, for one thing). I've checked compatability lists and HOWTOs - haven't found this specific card, but a lot of its relatives are fine. That sort of luck has worked for me before, but it's still just luck. So, has anyone on this list tried it with Linux? Or would you recommend something else? Thanks for any help, Tim -- Timothy Musson - [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://homepages.ihug.co.nz/~trmusson/ . . . .You too can wear a nose mitten.
