Hi, My soundcard is finally working in Linux, thanks to mandrake 9. It uses Alsa for the sound.
My problem is that XWindows (I am running KDE and Gnome) blocks the sound so XMMS donst work. I get this error: /dev/dsp: device or resource busy How do I clear all output to /dev/dsp to use XMMS. Also,how do I use mpg123 with alsa? Thanks
