Yup :) I did a bit of consultancy work on the recovery CD. It's Mandrake 9.0 with things tweaked so users can fly it out-of-the-box. There's a HAM driver in there for a 56K modem, Ihug is in the kppp wizard, OpenOffice is pre-installed, Mozilla, Konqueror and k-mail are available (Mozilla is labeled "Web Browser" and a Mozilla -mail link is labeled "E-mail"). The whole thing just works. The user gets a recovery CD and the 3 disk Mandrake 9.0 set. DSE Sales staff are programmed to let the users know what they're in for. Personally I think it'd benefit from a bit more RAM. The user experience will be enhanced when the Open Source version of RealPlayer is available because then that can be shipped pre-installed. Vik :v)
