Servers and static IPs with Xtra are quite expensive - that's why I am with 
Paradise on Telstra-Saturn-Clear cable.

Whether it's a good idea or not all depends on what you have to say on your 
site. :-)

I have a web site running with a couple of forums on it and also some pictures 
of my daughter's wedding for friends and relatives overseas. There is hardly 
any traffic at all really. I also put up special files from time to time by 
special request.
