Well that's interesting.  A tried to get an ADSL modem to work through
the NIC to my ISP but couldn't get it to work.   I couldn't ping the
gateway address for the ADSL modem.

I used all the settings from my WinXP box to set up the ADSL modem but
couldn't get it to work.   Can you do screen dumps for me so that I can
check to make sure all the settings are in the right boxes?   If you
don't mind I'll try again tonight and if I can not get it to work, I'll
send you the screen dumps to look at.

Mine does this too...  says NOT ACTIVATED, but I've logged into the
server, got a DHCP address, can see the shares, access to the internet,
and everything, so sod it...  I left it alone...
