hi, I have a hub that i'm considering powering off the usb port on my laptop cause i need a mobile unit. The voltage is correct but i'm not sure how much current can be drawn from this source, or if there is any overload protection on usb ports. I have looked on the web but haven't been able to find anything constructive. Does anyone know anything about this??
