The laptop is a dell latitude. hmmm 500ma... The hub is a boring old 4port 10meg one, rated @ 7.5v and 1amp. I felt its named current was a bit over the top, especially if only a maximum of 2 devices were connected to it, but maybe the usb supply is a bit lite... i'm keen to try it, but not keen to damage the pc!! might be best to be safe than sorry...
