Aggh. My personal exeriences with Macs can be summed up as crapintosh. It included *) being unable to save my work of 18MB because it couldn't find enough memory to do so, so I was forced to quit without saving. Never mind that there were 32MB free, just not in one piece (translation: memory management is so fscking bad, if it can't find it in one piece, it gives up, just like msdos or the original amiga). And the lab guy told me it was still better than mswin... yeah right. *) 2 crashes for 3 operations, and requiring 2(!!!) reboots per crash, as the first reboot didn't fix things up *) The most diabolical mouse to use I've ever come across - it's round, damn, difficult to find when you're moving it to the right and when in any other direction. Funny that, all the labs at uni have stuck bits of plastic onto those to make them elongated and thus usable *) pre-emptive multi-tasking being introduced waaaaay after single-user Billy got it in his products Plus, you get all those s*xy cr*p cases instead of performance for your money. I think I can easily resist the "temptation" of a mac... Volker -- Volker Kuhlmann is possibly list0570 with the domain in header http://volker.dnsalias.net/ Please do not CC list postings to me.
