PCMCIA settings

hello all,

I am wanting to replace redhat 7.3 on my laptop with Slackware 8 and I have prickly PCMCIA settings. Does anyone know where the pcmcia settings are kept so I can copy them over when slackware is installed. (i.e. put on floppy then put back on laptop). Also opinons on Slackware welcome. (mainly using for small size). No gentoo sorry , It's a P133 with 32 Mb Ram and 2 GB and 56k connection, aka not suitable.
