I think what these guys are saying is that printing is a pain in the butt with
any operating system, and alcohol makes it more bearable.

Speaking of which, would iso-propyl alcohol be good for cleaning crud off the
parts inside a printer.
That chrome rod that the printhead slide across gets a black film on it, and
rollers get gunky too.
