My system's Mandrake-Linux 9.0.

My files systems are /boot = xfs, / and /usr = reiserfs, and /var and /home
are ext3.

Recently I was brought up short by its claim it had no more space.

I investigated and found for example, /herc370 claimed, when queried by the
properties option of the kde menu, that it had 1.7 GB stored. its two
subdirectories, /herc370/mvs38j and /herc370/vm claimed to have 873.3 MB and
425.5 MB respectively, the two adding up to 1.3 GB stored.

So where and how have all the missing megabytage gone to? I can't figure it
all out.

Thanks in advance for any help.
