If you wanna see something really cool, install a wee program called xosd (http://www.ignavus.net/) and try this: tail --follow=name /var/log/mail/info | osd_cat -c red (using --follow=name means that tail handles log rotations sensibly) You'll see the log scroll as it changes on the top of the screen using see-through text. really funky.
