Please DO suggest it on the forum :-)  It won't replace the forum, but I
will use it to let people know what courses are coming up soon so they can
organise their time.

I have never set up a mailing list or archive before, so we will need to get
someone to teach us how to do it.  Any takers?

That's what I am already doing on the CLUG list.  I make a weekly
announcement saying what new courses have been requested, and which courses
are ready to be scheduled.  Nobody objected when I first asked to do this,
but I did say I would try to keep general OSTC business off list.

When I set up the OSTC mailing list, most of the business stuff will be
handled there, but I will still make a weekly announcment on the CLUG list
for those not subscribed to my list.
