I attanded the install fest and brought the mandrake disks
(they all work fine BTW)
I am studying for a level 5 diploma at the moment
My whole class installed mandrake 9 and are attempting to learn about it.
My school runs a techie Domain on their lan for us.
The problem i'm having is this:
i can browse our LAN with samba, but can not copy files to or from our class
server (running windows 2000 server).
We are all running duel boot NT4 workstation systems and file transfers work
fine under NT, but when i log into Mandrake and try to copy files it just
comes up with a progress bar that stays at 0%.
I have read a few web pages concerning samba and even tried to configure it
myself without success.
Any suggestions?
