I'd suggest you use a program like "Downloader for X (d4x)" or "gtm (gnome
transfer manager)" gtm is probably already installed (networking > file
transer > gtm) and if not it'll be on your Mandrake CD's. while d4x can be
installed by connecting to the net and runing as root
urpmi d4x
both support resume and d4x is a full download manager supporting file
spliting resume searching for fast mirrors etc.
