No thats ok. My intention is to compile kde 3.1.2 for woody. I want to move to using debian instead of redhat, but would like to have a more up2date (pardon the discription!) kde, with the stable os below it, and since my connection is via 56k modem,i cant realistically do an apt-get. I will have a play with the suggestions mentioned today. thanks for your help Paul.
