uh... what's going on? your network is an experiment, with a goal being a some sort of proxy with acces to the internet? are you using broadband? you can save some pingas if you use LEAF or something on an old machine, it fits on a floppy so you don't need a HDD, just connect it to the web and your home network (server), just don't switch it off lol- you can use this as your firewall, who's gonna hack a floppy?? and why?
