Recently I have had an issue trying to run some small OpenGL apps. These are Xscreensaver modules which can also be run standalone without xscreensaver (they just run in a window).
When I try to run them now, they run but nothing appears on the desktop. I tried 'LDD <appname>' and all libs that they call are correct and accounted for. I even notice the system slows as it normally would when running OpenGL stuff. The KDE System guard shows them as a running and happy process, but they're not visible! Weirdness!
Does anyone know what could cause this?
