I can bring 2 laptops if required - 2GHz, 500Mb RAM Also if nobody else volunteers I can bring a desktop, which currently runs Mandrake, which we can switch to Gentoo.

These may be barebones with a spare partition, or may be a machine with a partial gentoo install, which needs some packages updating/adding. They need not be grunty, but all we are after is proof of concept. you will need to bring the whole kaboodle, monitor, keyboard, power boxes, extension cords, net cable etc. Please get back to me asap.
