DOH, premature send on my last post... Try this one..

To get mplayer working on RH9...

I install this load of crap.. (All from freshrpms)

aalib-1.4rc5-fr2.i386.rpm
aalib-devel-1.4rc5-fr2.i386.rpm
alsa-lib-0.9.2-fr2.i386.rpm
faad2-1.1-fr1.20030409.i386.rpm
lame-3.93.1-fr2.i386.rpm
libdv-0.99-fr2.i386.rpm
libdvdcss-1.2.6-fr2.i386.rpm
libdvdcss-devel-1.2.6-fr2.i386.rpm
libdv-devel-0.99-fr2.i386.rpm
libdvdread-0.9.4-fr3.i386.rpm
libdvdread-0.9.4-fr3.src.rpm
libdvdread-devel-0.9.4-fr3.i386.rpm
libpostproc-0.90-fr2.i386.rpm
lirc-0.6.6-fr1.i386.rpm
lzo-1.08-fr2.i386.rpm
mplayer-0.90-fr2.i386.rpm
mplayer-fonts-1.0-fr1.noarch.rpm
mplayer-skins-1.3-fr1.noarch.rpm
xvidcore-0.9.1-fr2.i386.rpm

And then, for xine.. (needs some of the above)..

flac-1.1.0-fr3.i386.rpm
xine-0.9.20-fr2.i386.rpm
xine-lib-1.0.0-fr0.beta11.1.i386.rpm

I keep em in a bunch directories on my server, along with some other must
have apps... You want em to email em? :-).

Those may not be current versions, but I know if I rpm -ivh * em it works
on a stock RH9.0 I think there may be a single dependancy that is on the
RH disks as well, not a big deal.

Cheers, me.
