Hi-ho... If you're having problems like that you should go to a local mirror for the updates.
For RH 9 a good one is: ftp://ftp.isl.net.nz/pub/linux/dist/redhat/updates/9/en/os/ If you can't get the updates from there either due to dial-up dropouts or other syndromes of the net, I can burn the current RPM binary updates for you, which is 670Mb worth to a CDR.. I keep a private rsync'd mirror of all the RH7.3, 7.1 and 9.0 updates. (i386, i586, i686, noarch, but not src or athlon) Cheers, Chris H. > OT: RPM's are evil, and so is RH.
