cheers, looks like i will have to go all ext3 or something... it wouldn't 
really be a prob for the particular partition anyway (i have several). And 
the point being that i have one 60 (56?)gig drive with 5 partitions ( / and 
/boot ext3 (6 gig), c NTFS (10 gig), f (6-ish)and g FAT32 (32 gig). oh, and a 
swap of course.
