cd-rom drives

Hi, 

Im currently at university and the cd-rom drive on the computer I am at 
has eaten one of my cd's and wont give it back.  For some reason I have 
access to /mnt/cdrom (Which we mere students normally dont have) but I 
cannot get it to eject the CD.  It is just a music CD but I dont want to 
leave it sitting around :).

If anyone is up late tonight and think they have a solution for me then 
that would be brilliant - otherwise I will try find someone in the 
computer science admin to help.
