There is no "Photoshop Style" radio button in the GUI, but if you want to configure the key bindings you can edit (as per man page): $HOME/.gimp-1.2/menurc - user's set of keybindings. /etc/gimp/1.2/menurc - system wide set of keybindings. There also is a GUI way: you bring up the menu with the mouse, and let the mouse pointer rest over the item you want to assign a key binding for, but without clicking. While the mouse is still there, you push the desired keys. This will change your menurc - so you do not have to edit it manually. I am not quite sure how this function deals with conflicts caused by assigning the same binding twice - just try it. Neither do I know whether this is what you were looking for...
