One of my clients is quite into the whole linux thing, although they
still have windows on all the desktops and are using Microsoft Outlook
for calendering we've got them using mozilla for browsing, and some
users email.

However they're wanting to get something setup where they can easily
share email addresses, and calenders between users and machines they're
looking at getting a windows server and running Exchange
(app/file/proxy/email server is currently linux)

For shared contact lists, we're thinking of setting up an LDAP directory
if whatever app we end up choosing doesnt support shared contacts.

What I am wondering, does anyone know of a good alternative that enables
shared calendars and scheduling? Ideally something that emulates the
Exchange protocol so the users dont have to have yet another
application.

So far the best thing I've found on the net is opengroupware
(opengroupware.org I think) which supports the Exchange WebDAV protocol.
Does anyone share any experiences with this or other applications?

Thoughts anyone?
