Subject: Various Linux questions

Good morning!

Regarding the Mandrake 9.1 installation I did for a friend a week ago: He
has
been using it for a few days now, and came back with a few questions. I'd
like
advice on a few, please :-)

1. To prevent his PC from booting when he receives telephone calls: Can this
be
changed in the BIOS?

2. Can KWord be set up to use the installed HP930 driver, rather than the
generic driver?

3. What about shockwave and flash plugins for Mozilla? (On my own PC, I've
just
ignored these, as I'm not interested) Are they straightforward to install
or
do I need to be prepared?

4. What does the Mozilla alert "Document contains no data". means?

Apart from that, I think that his ship is sailing, which proves once again
that
Linux can be used & enjoyed by non-techies :-)

rgds
Jaco
