This is what Jason did. Even if you do that several times to several email addresses that people advertise on their websites, it's still not spam, IMHO. The email address published on the website is usually not the personal email address of individuals in the company. Come on peoples, lighten up. This is not a bulk mailing to random netizens. This is specific emails to the published addresses of certain businesses that Jason thought might be interested in a deal. Publishing an email address as a way of contacting an organisation *is* IMHO soliciting emails from people wanting to contact that specific organisation. It is not soliciting being part of a random bulk mailing, but Jason is in the former, not latter, category. Yuri
