Indeed!! I've just had a very nasty experience with it.
We replaced it with Mdk-9.1 ( .2 is not ready yet )

I'll be going to listen unless I'm actually asked to speak.
Mandrake has the benefit of having a very easy install, but unfortunatly, 
imho, the QA on the distro as a whole is not up to scratch to replace M$ in a 
large institution.

I'd probably suggest one of the commercially supported Debian descendents.
Gentoo is not really ready for that sort of situation, because it is changing 
all the time. Wonderful for a geek to play with or a very small network in a 
closely controlled situation. Give them another year or so and it will be 
"the Linux of Choice".
