As soon as I get off these drugs, I'll be establishing some GPL'd work to take Software Radio and prod it into the limelight. Part of this will involve novel mesh radio systems and integration with 802.11 wireless networks. I have a meeting next week with an NZ-based hardware development firm, and an organisation that may be willing to stump up the initial cash. There is, of course, Government funding for this kind of thing if you look hard enough. The GPL makes sure that moneys invested by the Government produce results usable by all New Zealand companies. Even if some big overseas company picks it up and runs with it, we still get to adapt it to NZ conditions and requirements - and benefit from their contributions via the GPL. Now there's innovation. More news after I've had the meeting... Vik :v) -- This PC runs Linux. If you find a virus apparently from me, it has forged the e-mail headers on someone else's machine. Please do not notify me when this occurs. Thanks.
