I'm trying to get a box running with this combination... am I pushing it up
hill?

PPPoA first...

Telecom NZ only supports PPPoA so PPPoE is out.

The NB1400 only forwards TCP and UDP (from what I can tell) and not GRE
(required for PPTP) so I need to set up the router as a transparent bridge -
I think, please correct me if I'm wrong.

Does anyone know if IPCop supports PPPoA and if so where I find instructions
to set it up.

vnStat second...

Does anyone have any experience in setting this up on IPCop? Are there any
tricks?

The end result...

At the end of the day all I'm trying to do is set up a box with VPN tunnels
and something that will tell me how much data has moved across each one.

While I know I could do this without to much hassle on a Windows box I'd kind
of like to do it on a Linux box but so far I'm finding it a total nightmare!

If there's a better way I'm all ears! :)

Thanks in advance...

Cheers DiG

(An NB1400 is a Netcomm ADSL Modem / Router - Google know's all if you care :)
