Not quite sure I agree. We've suggested before to mix CLUG with beer (mmm, good ...), but decided that the (welcome) presence of "minors" prevented that as the sole policy.

So now there's a suggestion to associate CLUG with curry (mmm, good ...), and Yuri's post just points out that not everyone can fit in with that for financial reasons, and so it shouldn't be the sole policy. One of the implications of libre software is low cost, and therefore Linux and it's friends have a large representation amongst those who don't spend a lot of money.

But you can't please everyone all the time - Jason and others have days of the week that they can't use for CLUG, as a trivial example.
