I asked a while ago about linux PDAs and have thought about it for a while and have a couple of questions about the Sharp Zaurus SL5600.
1. Does anyone know where they are avalible(new) preferably in Aussie or America(i may have some family going over there for a few weeks) or here(but i have searched and havent found any thing)
2. How many $s NZ would one cost including a CF digital camera card(cause I am prepared to buy a Palm Zire71 for about $550 and its between those two)

I bought my SL-5600 from Singapore in the end for $290US + 45US FedEx shipping from an outfit called Chedware. That's after trying to get one from Amazon for the same price, but they won't ship electronics to NZ.
I highly recommend the Zaurus as a high-end PDA. Great for playing oggs, reading ebooks, compiling kernels :) It visible from any PC running kernel 2.4.21 onwards (or the patch), as a Samba share.
Watch for hidden charges though, you may be charged GST upon it coming through NZ customs.
