Hi, I have 2 ordinary users and root. The first user can add icons and change the desktop just by right-clicking. The other user cannot. I have to assume that I have the right packages installed for that reason.
I tried copying the working user's .gnome-desktop directory to the other user's home and then changing owner etc. Still nothing displays on the user's desktop.
