I assume that your business partner is used to working with M$ Office and that you will be using OpenOffice.org instead. Given the the current abundance of people still working with M$ Office you will need to interact with them anyway. I have put together a document that may be useful to you when transferring from M$ Office to OpenOffice.org or when working with M$ Office files.
