I've had 6 different Palms, all good except Symbol SPT1500's which died on a repeatable basis. I never had any trouble shifting data and apps from one device to the next. I'm starting to shift towards using OSS SuperWaba-based applications (http://www.superwaba.com) because they offer the best cross-platform support as well as native PIM interfaces. Even better than Java, as it runs on PalmOS 3 machines. The forthcoming SDL version will add native Linux and Symbian support. I've started to realise that though Palm is a most excellent platform, the only thing that matters is the "Personal" part of PDA. All being well, you will be using this device until it expires or is obsoleted and then you will need to change devices. The powerful consideration when chosing a PDA is the future of your data. This will last far longer than the PDA itself - if you choose right. "Open" is the only way to go. Vik :v) -- This PC runs Linux. If you find a virus apparently from me, it has forged the e-mail headers on someone else's machine. Please do not notify me when this occurs. Thanks.
