I could set up a couple of LTSP machines in the garage so we could have at
least three machines with live browsing ability. Do you think that would be
better than hard copy?

Konqueror outputs 69 pages. If one were to do a two up print setup using

Yes I agree that it's a ginormous magnum opus expressed with a degree of 
loquacious verbosity which our American cousins have raised to an art form. 
However, to give the authors their due, if one is starting off from no prior

knowledge whatsoever it is all more or less necessary.

Judging by the spew of messages in the #gentoo IRC channel not very many 
people can read and fully understand it. Yes it is in urgent need of
editing, 
and I'm desperately fighting the urge to get involved.
