Don't forget that the document is also available on the LiveCD as a web page complete with a text browser. I find the best way is open a shell in VT/1 to issue the commands, and have the browser running in VT/2. If you start the gpm daemon you can copy the appropriate command strings from the instructions in VT/2 to the shell in VT/1. It would make the Gentoo Installfest a much more rewarding experience for the installees if they were to at least skim over the instructions before turning up with their machines. http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/handbook/handbook.xml?part=1 http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/handbook/handbook.xml?style=printable&full=1 > Rob > -----Original Message----- > From: Christopher Sawtell [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Thursday, 1 April 2004 12:41 p.m. > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: Re: Gentoo Installfest > > On Thu, 01 Apr 2004 11:30, Nick Rout wrote: > > bejesus, 96 pages according to print preview, and thats at 80% scaling. > > Konqueror outputs 69 pages. If you find a virus apparently from me, it has forged the e-mail headers on someone else's machine. Please do not notify me when this occurs. Thanks.
