Downloading: If you email me a spicific set of links I'm happy to download. Is the data on local mirrors or over seas sites? I use bugger all of my 5gb xtra allocation and just about nothing of the 2gb on the other connection so I'm happy to do the leg work.
Please consider that I have no idea at all what I'm downloading so you will need to be specific and correct with your request because you will get just what you ask for with no thought put in from me (for obvious reasons). I have a couple of linux boxes here - one running RH9 with a 60gb disk in it so you could provide a script with wget commands (or some such thing). My CD burner is set up on a Win2k box... and I'm not moving it at present, so if you want this stuff burnt to CD you best warm me about that as well as I guess it means I'll also have to get busy and set up file transfer from the linux box to the Win2k box... (yes, I know none of this is that hard really, it's just that it's all gear that's just arived in from Wellington that I haven't looked at in months and in some cases can't even remember the passwords for... I'm sure you follow the drill :) HTH Cheers Don. > -----Original Message----- > From: Nick Rout [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Friday, April 02, 2004 9:46 AM > To: CLUG > Subject: gentoofest issues > > > 1.
