I'll put in a vote for yum... stunningly simple to set up and use but... (there is always a but) requires header info describing the packages to be on the server delivering the packages... easy to do if you control it but if it is someone elses mirror then you have to get them to set it up. Upgrade granularity is a challenge as well (as I discovered 1/2 an hour ago)... you can do a global upgrade or upgrade specific packages but you don't seem to be able to 'upgrade everything except ones matching somestring'.
