Ok.  I have no idea at all how I set that up.  As I just gave my two linux
boxes away this week I will have to build some new ones now then give this a
go.

I have RedHat 9 on each site.  I could build a couple of IPCop Boxes and
have them changed over if that would meet all the requirments.  What's the
difference?

Yes, having the nix box as the wins server is the idea. I've tried setting
up wins on samba before but got very confused about what things did what and
what was required and what could be left at default.

Having a real site with real requirments makes my motivation to get this
working a bit higher as well.... there's nothing like having a reason to
make you get on and make it really go for real :)

Right... must go spend some time with the wife before I get shot....  guess
