Evolution folders are really easy to copy/backup for use later.

Just copy the /home/evolution/local folder

The e-mails are on my debian hdd. /home/evolution is my guess (from work)
I have a dvd-rom and a CDRW and 2 hdd in my machine, only leaving room for 
another hdd to be plugged in via SATA.  Unless I remove one of the optical 
drives, but I'm hoping to get them set up as well.
