This is the app I was talking about on list a while back.

The client has old machines with disks that are failing in a number of
locations.

I was messing about with smb this afternoon, then decided to have a look
that this dos emulation thing then realised that I could tie the whole lot
up.

More of a learning exercise than anything for the network side of things...

I don't think the windows98 copies are licenced on some of the machines they
have and the machines are getting on....

They've got problems with virus in their mail systems that they're worried
about... sound like a good excuse to get them using linux?

The finance controller is keen as chips to have a look at it but the POS
system is the one that's critical to the whole site.

80x25 I think.

I'm really not sure what to do about the emulation.

I've got putty set up with UTF-8 which sorts out the lines in mc when used
on RH9

But where I change what to get the dosemu working I have no idea at all.
(and yes I did read everyones comments, most of which didn't understand).
