Hi,
 I think you are also missing the 
automake
autoconf 
 set of packages......

You are probably missing glibc and other such.
and some variants to glibc for things like c++.
  Those variants may not be required.

To be honest, you have quite a bit to install.

A simple approach is to reinstall,  and put in the various developer 
tools.

I do suggest you get a tool, such as apt-get, to handle the dependancies
of the various packages.
