Sounds like you're just the kind of 'grunt' we need Paul, to keep our 'guns' in support for troubleshooting the hard stuff! My skills are similarly 'developing'. Correct us if wrong, guys..
Not to mention I want the t-shirt.
I'm just looking for some WinXP partition resizing utilities at the moment.
I haven't had the opportunity to test them yet (*whistles* Robert!) but I'm sure that someone put their hand up before.
Snapshot - Partition Resize
http://www.drivesnapshot.de/en/resize.htm
Limitations - You are allowed to use Snapshot for a 30 day period, after which you must either BUY <http://www.drivesnapshot.de/en/order.htm> it, or stop using it.
ntfsresize
http://mlf.linux.rulez.org/mlf/ezaz/ntfsresize.html
non-destructively resizes the primary, NTFS <http://linux-ntfs.sourceforge.net/info/index.html> filesystem of Windows XP/2000/NT4
If I haven't heard word of a reccomended resizer I'll test these out when I get to installing Mandrake 10.
